Bagel&Co (operating in Jūrmala and Piņķi, Latvia) respects your privacy. This page explains what data we collect, why, and what your rights are under the EU GDPR.

Who runs this site

What we collect

• Order data: name, phone number, email, pickup location, items ordered, delivery comment. Stored to fulfil the order and send a receipt.
• Cart contents: stored in your browser only (localStorage), never sent to our servers until you check out.
• Language preference: stored in your browser to remember your chosen language (LV/EN/RU).
• Server logs: standard web access logs (IP address, user-agent, request URL) kept up to 30 days for security and debugging.

Why we collect it

Solely to process and deliver your order, send receipts, and contact you about your order. We do not sell, rent or share data with third parties for marketing.

Who we share with

• Resend (email provider) — to send your order receipt to the address you provide.
• Telegram — order details are forwarded to the staff chat so we can prepare it.
• Bolt Food / Wolt — only if you order through their apps directly; we do not pass your data to them from our site.

Cookies & local storage

We use localStorage for cart, language and admin session — not third-party tracking cookies. There is no analytics or advertising script. See our Cookie notice.

How long we keep data

• Orders: 12 months for accounting.
• Server logs: 30 days.
• Local-storage cart: until you clear your browser.

Your rights (GDPR)

You can request a copy of, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time. Email support@bagelsco.lv with the subject "GDPR request".

Data Protection Authority

If you believe we are mishandling your data, you can complain to the Latvian Data State Inspectorate (dvi.gov.lv).
